very creative, but be careful of age you buy for
I gave this to my 12 mo. old grandson for christmas becasue he loves Elmo. He was a bit intimidated by it because it is so animated. The adults loved it! Quite an amazing toy! The older kids loved it as well. i would wait til at least 18 mo. to give it to a baby.

So much fun for all. Only issue the body could have been a little softer. But we all had a great time playing with him.
We love it!
My daughter is just getting into Elmo and saw this at the store and didn't want to leave it there. So we purchased it from Amazon for Christmas. She played with it all day. However, she can be a little afraid of it at times when it turns on without any warning. She loves Elmo and I know she'll grow out of this "Elmo scary" phase. It's a cute toy with many features. Even after playing with it for a month we found new things it would say or do.
A todler's best friend
This toy was purchased for my niece's second birthday. Like any todler--ELmo is her best bud. She specially loves the music and has learned to dance to Elmo's tunes. My niece takes him in the car (quiet time for the parents); reads books to him (practices good habit) and is learning new words from Elmo every day. This toy is WORTH every penny for the pure joy, laugher and happyness it's brought into her world and ours.
Great Toy for our two year old
My son loves this toy and plays with it none stop. He enjoys the singing and the funny sound Elmo make when you tip him over or squeeze his noise. I recommend lithum batteries for this one because you will go through a lot of the cheaper ones.
