At approximately two feet in height, Dragon World Fortress is filled with enough interactive features to keep active imaginations occupied. The play set comes with two knight figures, each with their own detachable sword, shield and armor. With these figures your child can pivot "activation points" on the play set, which can reveal hidden staircases and open the front gate.
Knights who dare to enter the Dragon World Fortress face many dangers. Pulling a lever on the back of the castle will cause the green guard dragon to lunge forward and attack intruders. The lever also triggers thunder sound effects and causes the entire castle to light up. There is also a cannon that fires plastic projectiles, and a rolling boulder that can be used to defend the staircases.
The fortress is constructed in solid, sturdy plastic. Parents, be aware that it is fairly easy to topple over due to its vertical design. However, this problem is remedied by folding out the hidden set of stairs underneath the castle, giving it the stability needed for rougher play.
Encourages Imagination
Dragon World Fortress channels a spirit of medieval adventure. It is full of movable objects and sounds, but still leaves plenty of room for constructive, imaginative play. The play set provides children with the tools needed for an immersive, imaginative experience.

great for the imagination
My son loves this ... only downfall is you need more men and dragons to get the full use but luckily we got several people to get him extras to go with it and he has a blast.
Great toy but...
My 4 year old son received this toy for Christmas. He loves it but it is a little frustrating. It makes several sounds and he loves how it lights up. The biggest complaint is that it is so tall and top heavy that when he is playing with it, it sometimes falls over. We really love Imaginext. Their toys are durable and interesting.
Great fun for 3 & 5 yr old
Purchased this for our 3 yr old boy and he LOVES it. The castle makes cool sounds and the knights have great adventures in it. They team up with Batman as we also have the Imaginext bat cave. This is a great series of toys - he and his older brothers participate in a lot of imaginative play with these sets. It's something that is suitable for and appeals to a wide age range, so that all my four boys can play together. So far it seems pretty sturdy because our boys can be pretty rough on toys. Only wish that it was a bit wider as it tips over easily due to it being tall.

I rated this the highest in all categories because of the way my grandson has reacted to it and plays with it. He loves it!
Imaginext Dragon World Fortress
My son is 3 and absolutely loves this fortress. He takes all of his animals and plays with it. He knocks it over, kicks it, is really rough with it and still it stands just like when we first got it. Still on the same batterys when we first bought it and we never turn it off. A must buy for any kids into animals, loud noises, fun times for son and dad :)
