It's just ok
My 6 year old daughter enjoys this toy. It is hard to clean and dried play doh gets stuck in the moving parts. The handles and cranks to make the play doh go through to look like ice cream are hard to turn. It is almost impossible to make sprinkles. My daughter loves play doh and this does get played with, but she does get frustrated.

Too messy!!
I know that Play Doh can be messy, but this particular toy is the worst I have seen. If you don't mind a million tiny piece of play doh everywhere, then you might like this toy.

kids love it
The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because our girls needed help/supervision with a lot of this. They (3 & 4) both love this thing, making sundaes and cones with sprinkles, etc. The Play Doh gets stuck in a lot of the little contraptions, so if you want to have your colors separated, you will definitely have to help little ones with things and have a toothpick handy. Definitely a favorite of our daughters though.

Great concept, bad reality
My five year old got this set for Christmas and was very excited to try it out. Unfortunately, she can't work the presses on it without help. Even as an adult I find them to hard to push -- I have no idea how a kid could do it. Plus, as others pointed out, it does come apart to clean out dough so you end up with a mess of dried bits. While I won't can it, this will be a once in awhile toy.

Don't waste your money
Play-Doh was invented in 1956, one would think that after over 50 years of having a company that they would have an excellent Quality Assurance department, however, after purchasing this toy, we have learned that they do not. You would think having been in business for this amount of time that play-doh would have perfected every option on such a toy, ease of use to a 3+ year old, easily cleanable for parents, but this isnt the case.

The toy, once put together is a nightmare to store and clean. It's also a challenge to even make the actual ice cream, it's ridiculous how much strength that you need to push the play doh through the holes to create the ice cream effect, and the actual concept of even getting in there is far above a 3 year old (which the box recommends.)

I would spend your money on something a little more worth the money...thumbs down from me!
